The chief responsibilities of Developers are:

	To help with the selection of franchisees
	To participate in the process of selling franchises
	To assist with location selection and the opening of new locations
	To provide continued local support to the franchisees, such as providing monthly outlet evaluations and direction to ensure the success of the franchisees’ business

A typical support structure is made up of Developers, local franchisee groups, committees (such as those that are involved in special interests like advertising or product purchasing on a local or national level) and field consultants (who perform the monthly evaluations and are part of the Developers’ staff). Anyone in the SUBWAY® organisation, especially at HQ, is only a phone call, voice mail or e-mail away.
